Marselo Pessutti Kahneman was born and raised in Sao Paulo in Southeast Brazil. By the time Marselo was 18 he knew his future was outside of South America. Marselo set his sights on Amsterdam. At 18 years of age Marselo was accepted to the University of Amsterdam to pursue an education in the Arts.
Marselo remained in Amsterdam for 4 years, to complete his studies, whereupon he received his BFA and fell in love with Interior Design. His studies over two decades ago was the beginning of his illustrious career as a designer and decorator.
After Graduation in Holland Marselo returned to Brazil. Upon his return Marselo was quickly hired by the renowned textile designer and Design House of Rodolfo Scarpa Tecidos. Upon completion of Marselo’s first assignment, he expediently earned a spot to work with the designer, Rodolfo himself. Together with Mr. Scarpa-Tecidos they exhibited at the “Casa Cor” Marselo continued to be a thriving Textile artist and Interior designer at the famous design house. Marselo’s continued enthusiasm for design and exploration eventually brought him to the United States.
Marselo interests in interior design landed him in New York to work as an Intern for Sig Bergamin and to attend the worlds best Language school Berlitz at the Rockefeller Center. Marselo strived in New York, and decided to explore more avenues in interior design and decorating to further his career.
In 2000 Marselo traveled to Florida to attend the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale for Interior Design for a more formal and technical education in Interior Design and Decorating. While attending school in Fort Lauderdale Marselo was hired by the Boca Resort and Club, where he remained until 2005. Marselo’s design skills, experience, and multi-lingual acumen got him hired by Artefacto in Miami.

Marselo is a luxury residential Interior Designer. He has become a well-known designer and project coordinator. He is an expert in single-family homes, to luxury condominiums. Marselo is a talented custom furniture and accessory designer. Marselo has a sixth sense for being able to connect with others in both his personal and professional life. His combination of talent, commitment and
passion makes his design aesthetic effortless.
Marselo can orchestrate spaces in decorating and design like a symphony. His fine art talent, combined with his interior design skills is apparent in creating beautiful living spaces indoors and
outdoors. While Marselo sees the big picture, he is keen on personality and detail. He has an eye from conceptual to finished project.
